"While this isn't news anyone expects, I'm working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan."
Vanessa went on to thank her doctors, revealing they had already "performed a procedure" on her earlier this week.

She finished the post by asking for "privacy" as she "focuses on my mental health and recovery."
Vanessa shares five children with her ex-husband Donald Trump Jr.: Kai, 19; Donald, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11.
Members of the Trump family, including the US President's daughter, Ivanka Trump, commented words of support under her post.
"Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama," Ivanka wrote.
This is not the first time the Trump family has dealt with cancer. Ivanka Trump's husband Jared Kushner was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2019.

Kushner underwent surgery to have the tumour removed while he was serving as a senior White House advisor during President Trump's first term.
Vanessa's announcement comes just weeks after Woods was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after rolling his car in Florida.
He recently completed a six-week stint at a private rehabilitation facility in Zurich, Switzerland and returned back to Florida earlier this month.
The pair have been linked since 2025.
Woods announced he would be stepping away from the public eye to focus on his health following the incident.
He has not yet commented on his partner's cancer diagnosis.
