How to use a rose quartz facial roller

If you’re anything like me (extremely curious), you’ve probably been seeing endless Instagram posts about rose quartz facial rollers and wondering what all the fuss is about.

Since the Salt By Hendrix Rose Quartz Facial Roller landed on my desk a couple of months ago, it has been a key part in my daily skincare routine. Here are the many benefits of this handy little tool, and how to use it.

What’s all the fuss about?

Crystals have unique vibrational properties and energetic powers, and rose quartz is the ultimate stone for both inner and outer beauty. It represents unconditional love, including love from ourselves. 

The rose quartz stone activates the heart chakra and assists inner healing and the draining of negativity, leaving you feeling more open, positive and lifted.

As well as providing a warm and fuzzy feeling on the inside, this beauty tool helps to stimulate blood flow, lymphatic drainage and skin cell rejuvenation, which assists in improving skin tone and elasticity, as well as the softening of fine lines and wrinkles.

They’re also extremely handy for de-puffing your face and under your eyes.

How do you use it?

To get the maximum benefits from your rose quartz face roller, apply your usual face serum or oil to a freshly washed face before use to help the product absorb better.

If you have a double-ended face roller, use the large end to massage your neck, cheeks and forehead. Use the smaller end around sensitive areas such as the eyes and brow bone.

The rose quartz stone remains cold even when in contact with your skin, which is not only incredibly refreshing, but also helps in tightening pores and calming inflammation.  

You can use your crystal face roller as frequently as you like. I’m aiming to use mine twice a day (I’m going for major results here!), but you’ll notice a difference from even using it a few times each week.

Once you’ve finished using it for the day it’s best to give your face roller a quick clean.  For a practical clean you can simply wipe it down with a damp cloth, or wash it in warm soapy water.

For a more spiritual clean you can wash it in salt water which is said to draw negative energies out of the roller to prevent them from transferring back onto your skin.
