A wedding planner has shared the importance of checking over even the smallest details of a wedding before the big day, sharing a tiny but unfortunate typo in the menu of one of her latest events.

In a TikTok video, Canadian wedding planner Ria stressed the importance of going over every wedding detail with a fine-toothed comb, as it turns out the most minute details could be your undoing.

Panning from the luxurious view of the wedding reception, Ria instead focused on the menu. It sounded delicious, with the starter options including, "Chargrilled quail, local Hunter Valley sticky BBQ marinade, petite egg noodle salad, jus".

But the problem came with the second starter option: "Aged bresaola sliced, 'dick' liver pâté, picked beetroot, and chargrilled ciabatta."

Say what?

It turns out that the menu was printed with an "i" instead of a "u" in "duck liver pâté".

"This is why you need to double, triple, quadruple check everything," Ria reminded her viewers, "Mistakes happen."

Commenters jumped on the chance to add their own jokes.

"That's the honeymoon menu," joked one.

"That's what I'd serve if I get divorced," one said.

"I'll take two for here, and three to go please! Thank you," one commenter requested.

"Was it served with the white sauce?," another said. "Was it served with a soft or hard roll?" one added.

"That probably is made for the singles-only table at the wedding," one joked.

"There's a typo in 'liver'. The 'i' should be an 'o'," one said cleverly, creating another meaning altogether.

"Actually serves as a great talking point for each table to have a few laughs and get the atmosphere buzzin! Strategic!!!" another wrote.

"I needed this right here. [I've] been depressed all day and this just made it less bad," one commenter appreciated.
