Woman orders food so the delivery driver can remove a spider for her
A UK student has devised a truly ingenious method for ridding her home of spiders, and it doesn’t involve chasing them around with a Tupperware container.
No, she's come up with something far simpler (and arguably more efficient): ordering a delivery of food.
Demi Sweeney, 22, freaked out when she noticed an unwelcome guest in her Bournemouth apartment last month while she was home alone.
The criminology student has a self-described “huge phobia” of spiders, and contacted several friends to see if they could help her - to no avail.
“I have a huge phobia of spiders, there’s one in the corridor of our house near the door - if I order food through Deliveroo is it possible at all if the driver could get rid of it?”
Luckily for Sweeney, the food delivery service was obliging.
