It's hard to imagine a more awkward position to be in than discovering a friend is being cheated on.
The knowledge someone you love is being betrayed in such a reprehensible way is enough to keep you up at night.
Then, you have a decision to make: will you tell your friend their partner is cheating on them?

The majority of Australians who responded to a recent Nine.com.au Reader Survey asking this very question gave a resounding "yes".

We asked: "Would you tell a friend if you knew their partner was cheating?"

Thirty per cent of respondents said they "probably would", followed by 26 per cent who said they "definitely would".
Twenty-five per cent of those who responded to the survey said they were "unsure" if they would tell their friend their partner was cheating on them.
Just 12 per cent said they "probably wouldn't" and four percent of respondents admitted they "definitely wouldn't".
There are some good and loyal friends who read Nine.com.au, that's for sure.
