All the royals Prince Louis has been compared to, from Kate Middleton to Prince Edward

Prince Louis is the third child and second son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, but the Duchess of Cambridge has joked in the past that he's the only one of their kids to look like her side of the family.

"Everyone always comments on how Louis is the spitting image of Kate," a friend told People magazine in 2020.

"She loves it and thinks it's very sweet, she often jokes that he's the only one of her kids who actually looks like her!"

So, let's take a look at all the members of the British royal family little Louis looks like:

Kate Middleton

Like mother, like son?

Yes, there are definitely many physical similarities between the mum and bub when you see photos of the Duchess of Cambridge as a child.

The pair share the same cheeks, nose and chin at the very least, along with the same sporty nature, with the mum-of-three having spoken about Louis's love of running around.

Michael Middleton

Prince Louis is often compared to Kate's dad Michael Middleton.

As the young royal has grown up, he's been compared more and more to his grandfather in the looks department.

We're yet to see photos of Michael as a child to be able to compare them, but they sure do have the swish side-part down pat.

Prince William

Of course, as many comparisons as there might be to his mum, no doubt many royal watchers have compared little Louis, born in 2018, to his dad Prince William.

While the two have the same eyes and hair as babies, as Louis's gotten older he does seem to look a little less like his dad overall.

Prince George

As soon as Prince Louis was born, there were always going to be comparisons to his older brother, Prince George.

The world watched His Royal Cuteness (as he was dubbed) take his first royal steps while in Australia on tour with his mum and dad in 2014.

And when Prince Louis started walking, we got photos as he was visiting the Chelsea Flower Show.

In the images, the two young royals looked very similar in many ways, but their faces look very different.

They do clearly look like brothers but as the pair have gotten older, they appear to have taken after different sides of the family.

Prince Edward

An unexpected royal Prince Louis has been compared to is his grand-uncle, Prince Edward.

After a photo of the Queen holding her youngest son during Trooping the Colour surfaced on social media, fans were quick to point out how similar the pair look.

The pair shared the same chubby cheeks, button nose and thick blonde hair, showing Prince Louis isn't all Middleton looks after all.
