Meghan caught up in $3000 Stella McCartney coat row
British fashion icon Stella McCartney has received criticism from some social media users for sharing an image of the Duchess of Sussex wearing her label on Remembrance Sunday.
McCartney posted the photo to her official Instagram account, showing Meghan in the wool felt coat which was fastened with a black belt. She paired the coat with a black wide-brimmed hat by Stephen Jones.

The designer captioned the photo: "So honoured to have HRH Duchess of Sussex in our Autumn '19 coat at Remembrance Sunday service. x Stella".
The coat sells for approximately $3000 AUD.
Meghan famously wore a Stella McCartney-designed gown on her wedding day, changing into the sleek, high-necked dress for her evening reception at Frogmore House. She accessorised with Princess Diana's aquamarine cocktail ring.

The Duchess has worn other designs by McCartney on many occasions, including a navy cape dress for the Invictus Games Opening Ceremony at the Sydney Opera House during the royal tour in 2018.
While this outfit was appropriate for the sombre occasion, many of McCartney's followers accused her of using Remembrance Sunday to promote her own brand.
"Using Remembrance Day to advertise your clothes is a little disrespectful! People died and you take pictures of people showing respect for advertising purposes. Just wrong," commented one of McCartney's followers.

"Remembrance Day is to honour those that fought for us not to use for advertising purposes. Pretty shocked," another said.
"Nice – but not really a time to be advertising your clothes Stella!!"
One accused McCartney of being "extremely tacky" while another said they were "disappointed" by the post.
"Today is about those who gave their lives for our freedom. Who gives a f**k what she's wearing," said another.
Earlier, McCartney had posted a short video showing a field of poppies with the caption: "Remembering the ones that sacrificed to give us freedom".
Both her posts about Meghan and the video have since been removed.
