Prince Harry has given an hilarious insight into how the Queen and Prince Philip are handling his and Meghan's move away from the UK to California.

The Duke of Sussex says he and Meghan, and their son Archie, have had regular Zoom calls with his grandparents since their relocation.

Harry made the comments during an interview with The Late Late Show host James Corden, filmed in Los Angeles.

"Both my grandparents Zoom," Harry said.

"We've Zoomed them a few times, they've seen Archie running around.

"My grandfather, instead of, like, pressing 'leave meeting', he just goes doof," Harry laughed, mimicking someone slamming down the laptop.

"I'm like, OK, bye."

Prince Harry is said to be greatly concerned about his grandfather following his recent hospitalisation.

Prince Harry's comments come as the Duke of Edinburgh is expected to remain in hospital until at least next week as he battles an infection.

Prince Philip, 99, is spending his 12th night inside the King Edward VII's Hospital in London.

Harry is believed to be in home quarantine in preparation for a dash back to the UK if needed.

He's being kept up to date about his grandfather's condition.

Buckingham Palace says the duke is "comfortable and responding to treatment".

But royal editor for The Mirror Russell Myers says Prince Philip's condition is "more serious" than what has been made public.

"I do think it's more serious than Buckingham Palace led us to believe in the first instance," Myers told Today.

"(But) he's responding well to treatment. He's comfortable at the moment."

However, he's not likely to be discharged anytime soon.

"I'm told he'll remain in hospital over the weekend and into next week," Myers said.

"(He's) still recovering from an infection."

Last week Prince Philip's youngest son, Prince Edward, gave an update saying: "He's looking forward to getting out, which is the most positive thing, so we keep our fingers crossed".

Days before the Duke of Cambridge said his grandfather was "ok" and that doctors were "keeping an eye" on him.

The Prince of Wales was seen visiting his father last weekend after getting a special exemption to visit the hospital, which has strict rules in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.

"He's the only one to have seen him," Myers said.
