Prince Harry has posed for a photo with Aussie actress Rebel Wilson at a recent polo event.

The photo has been shared by the actress along with the caption "Team Harry!" leaving no doubt as to her royal affiliation amid continuing tension between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the British monarchy.

The pair took the photo at a recent polo event where Prince Harry appeared for his aptly named Los Padre Polo team.

The friendly encounter could be considered a surprise to some considering Wilson's appearance at the BAFTAS (British Academy of Film, Television and Arts Awards) in 2022 during which she targeted the royals, in particular Harry and Meghan's Oprah interview.

"From drama, to horror, to fantasy... Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah had it all," she said during her appearance.

She also targeted Prince Andrew, saying: "I was going to do a musical number as host; it was about Prince Andrew. It was on rollerskates, it was called Pizza Express but don't worry, I'm not going to do it, I'm not going to sing. I'm saving my voice for the sequel to Cats."

In 2020 Wilson spoke about the royals once more but this time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in the audience watching on.

As she took to the microphone on the night of the awards ceremony, Wilson deadpanned an intro that garbled the name of the venue, Royal Albert Hall.

"It is really great to be here at the Royal Andrew... uh, Royal Harry... no, sorry, Royal Phil- at this royal... palace place," she said.

Immediately, cameras panned to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in the audience to capture their reaction to the joke.

Following the event Wilson told media she is friends with someone in the royal family who assured her there were no hard feelings afterwards. This may be Zara and Mike Tindall with whom the actress has previously been pictured.
