‘Not waiting for an invitation’: Why Harry and Meghan won’t be at royal Christmas
Anyone hoping to see a family reunion as the royals walk to church on Christmas morning will have to keep crossing their fingers for another year.
Despite their recent move back to the UK, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex won’t be heading to Sandringham to celebrate with the royals, opting to spend Christmas with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland instead, per People.

It’s not known whether Prince Harry, Meghan and their two children will return to the US for the holiday, or if Ragland will make the trip across the pond, and they will reportedly celebrate Thanksgiving together too.
“They would love her to come over to the UK and spend it with them here, but they will be wherever she wants to be,” a source told The Sunday Times.
The insider added that the couple “know they’re not going to be invited” to the royal family’s annual Christmas holiday at Sandringham, the King’s Norfolk estate.
“How could that even work? They know it would be too awkward and too difficult ... they’re not waiting for an invitation.”
