European royals share baby news with adorable post: 'The family is growing'

European royals Louis and Marie Ducruet have announced their family is growing. The couple are expecting their second child due later this year.

They made the announcement in an adorable Instagram post with the help of their daughter Victoire, one, and their fur baby, dog Pancake.

The couple posted two photos showing Victoire wearing a onesie that reads "Big Sis."

She is seated in front of Pancake, who is wearing a red bib that reads, "Oh no, not again! 2024."

The photos have been shared along with the caption: "Pancake and goldilocks have an announcement to make... they are expecting a new sibling, the family is growing."

The post has been shared simultaneously on both royal's social media accounts.

Louis Ducruet is the eldest child of Princess Stephanie of Monaco and the grandson of the late Grace Kelly and husband Prince Rainier, who died in 2005.

Louis and Marie were married 2019 and welcomed their daughter in April 2023.

Victoire is Princess Stephanie's first grandchild.

Upon her birth her grand-uncle, Prince Albert of Monaco, said, "My nephew Louis Ducruet and his wife Marie have the joy of being parents of a little girl."

Victoire is 16th in line for the Monegasque throne, with her father being number 15 in the line of succession.

Louis and Marie wed in 2019 in two lavish ceremonies.

The main event was held at the Monaco Cathedral, where the bride chose her most dramatic look of the celebrations.

The couple met at the Skema Business School in France.

Louis and Marie regularly appear with their uncle Prince Albert at key events, including the recent First Aids Cup.

They shared photos from a ski trip taken with their daughter earlier this year.

"First time sledding," the proud mum captioned a post along with a photo showing her holding Victoire on her lap, with Pancake also joining in on the frivolities.

The close-knit family also shared a festive photo wearing matching Christmas garb.
