Monaco's royal bride wears three stunning looks at her wedding

Monaco's newest edition to its royal family has proven her love of fashion by wearing three distinct looks at her wedding.

Marie Chevallier married Louis Ducruet, one of Grace Kelly's grandsons, in two ceremonies at the weekend.

The main event was held at the Monaco Cathedral on Saturday, where the bride chose her most dramatic look of the celebrations.

Chevallier wore a ball gown made of silk gazar and embroidered Chantilly lace, which took more than 300 hours of "patience and passion" to make, confirmed the designer Atelier Boisanger.

The dress was made in collaboration with Pauline Ducruet, the bride's sister-in-law who launched her own fashion label, Alter, in June.

The designer shared two photos on its official Instagram page, including a sketch of the lavish wedding gown.

After the ceremony at the cathedral – where the groom's grandfather, Prince Rainier III, and Princess Grace are buried – the bride changed into her second look of the day.

Vietnamese-born Chevallier wore a bold mini-skirt dress with an extended train, by designer Rosa Clará who described the gown as "unique".

"She selected an amazing lace dress with a beautiful deep neckline, subtle beaded appliqués and a bold short hemline under a spectacular extra-soft tulle and embroidered overskirt - the perfect blend of striking statement, elegance and sophistication," the brand wrote on its official Instagram page.

"A marvellous wedding full of love, charm and happiness. We have enjoyed so much the design of both dresses, it's been a pleasure."

Chevallier also chose Rosa Clará for her first bridal outfit – a very non-traditional jumpsuit – for the couple's civil ceremony on Friday, held inside Monaco's royal palace.

The weightless silk crepe culotte jumpsuit featured embroidered lace at the waist and a discrete V-neckline.

Chevallier met her now-husband at the Skema Business School in France. Ducruet is the son of Princess Stephanie and is 15th in line to the Monegasque throne.
