Meghan Markle is taking wardrobe cues from Kate Middleton

Meghan Markle appears to have borrowed fashion advice from her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton.

The Duchess of Sussex stepped out in Dublin wearing a dress that looked very familiar.

And it turns out, we've seen it before.

Well, not that exact dress but one very similar.

Overnight, Meghan attended a meeting with the Irish president, Michael D. Higgins, on day two of her and Prince Harry's visit to the Emerald Isle.

She wore a fitted grey Roland Mouret dress with a bateau neckline, long sleeves and complete with a draped skirt with sculpted panels.

The night before her wedding in May, Meghan stepped out in variation of this dress.

That frock featured capped sleeves and was navy blue.

It instantly became one of Meghan's most recognisable outfits, when she stepped out of a car and walked into the Clivedon House hotel, with her mother Doria Ragland.

The mother and daughter spent the night at the stately home, her final night as an unmarried woman.

Meghan's Dublin outfit was a bespoke version of Mouret's Barwick dress, which the 36-year-old teamed with black Paul Andrew stilettos, Birks diamond earrings, and a Fendi bag.

The Duchess and the designer are friends, and at one point he was rumoured to be creating her wedding gown.

"Meghan knows really well what she likes and the main thing with Meghan is to listen to her and work in collaboration with her," Mouret told the New York Post.

The Duchess of Cambridge frequently wears variations of coats and dresses which suit her figure.

Most recently, Kate wore an Alexander McQueen coat-dress in pale blue to an event at Westminster Abbey – she has the same design in primrose yellow, worn to Meghan and Harry's wedding, and another in white which she showed off at Princess Charlotte's christening.
