Duke and Duchess of Sussex charm Ireland

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex seemed to have charmed everyone in Ireland.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off Day 2 of their two-day tour of Ireland with a meeting at President Michael D. Higgins and wife Sabina Coyne's official residence, Áras an Uachtaráin.

And it seems the couple's Bernese Mountain dogs, Bród and Síoda, were super excited to meet the Royal couple too.

Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, both played with the First Pets before kicking off official business, which included ringing the Peace Bell, which was designed to mark the tenth anniversary of the Belfast Agreement.

The former Suits star stunned in a fitted dress by French designer, and good friend, Roland Mouret and accessorised with a Fendi black leather tote, as well as suede pointed-toe pumps and diamond earrings.

Meghan also swapped her dress for a Givenchy black pant suit and white t-shirt with black leather pumps by Sarah Flint and a Givenchy clutch.

But the Duchess wasn't the only one to change - with the Duke of Sussex also switching from a formal look in a navy suit, to a more relaxed jeans look in a light grey jacket and open button white shirt.

The pair headed to Croke Park, home of the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) to meet some young Gaelic footballers, whom they also clearly charmed to bits.

In particular, three-year-old Walter Cullen was seen playing about with the pair, even touching the Duchess's nose and seemingly trying to blow her a kiss, much to Harry's mock disapproval.

While another little boy seemed to have fun playing with Prince Harry's beard.

The newlyweds then rushed off to Trinity College Dublin, where they saw the Book of Kells, as well as some of their library's 200,000 oldest books

On their way out, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle met with the thousands of locals who had lined the street, despite the wet conditions earlier in the day.

The couple were given plenty of flowers with Meghan blushing a little when Prince Harry handed her a bunch.

From there, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their way to the Famine Memorial at Dublin's docklands, on the banks of the River Liffey, where a series of bronze statutes stand to commemorate the Great Famine of the mid 19th century.

The couple spent about 15 minutes there taking in the surroundings and the details of the famine, clearly moved by what they heard. They paused in front of the memorial to reflect on the historic tragedy.

Their sombre mood appeared lifted again once inside the interactive EPIC Irish Emigration Museum, located in the former Custom House Quay.

Without a moment's pause the couple went straight to the a tech lab for young start-ups for a brief visit before they head home in time to catch the World Cup semi-final match between England and Croatia.

The couple arrived at Dublin City Airport on Tuesday and hit the ground running for their first foreign tour since they married at Windsor Castle in May.

It was a quick change for the Royal Couple, who left the Royal Air Force Centenary celebrations, including a reception for RAF personnel thrown by the Queen at Buckingham Palace, and seemingly flew straight to the Emerald Isle.

Fittingly, Meghan Markle arrived wearing a forest green pencil skirt and matching top by Givenchy which featured pocket detailing, while holding a tan leather tote.

The Duchess appears to have just removed her hat from her earlier ensemble and left her hair in a low bun with the same bronzed, dewy make-up.

Meanwhile Prince Harry changed from his military uniform into a navy suit.

There was no time to rest for the Royal couple - they went straight to a meeting with the Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar before attending a Summer Party at the British Ambassador's Residence, where The Duke of Sussex gave a speech.
