The fallout from the demise of Meghan Markle's Spotify podcast continues, with claims she didn't personally conduct all the interviews featured on the 12-episode series resurfacing.

These claims were first made in August of 2022 when writer Allison Yarrow, who featured on the episode "To 'B' or Not To 'B'", which discussed the use of the word "difficult" being used to describe some women, shared a social media post following a recording session.

She wrote: "Cheers to producer @farrahsafari (an excellent interviewer) and the folks at @Gimlet @spotify who get it done!"

The New York Post is now alleging several interviews with guests were conducted by producers, with the Duchess of Sussex's voice being substituted in at a later stage.

Guests included Serena Williams, Andy Cohen, Lisa Ling and Mariah Carey.

This is despite the couple not producing enough content for the audio streaming giant to receive their full $29m payment.

This was quickly followed by a statement from Archewell Productions to the Wall Street Journal explaining the duchess is "continuing to develop more content for the 'Archetypes' audience on another platform."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also reportedly facing the end of their Netflix deal, which was worth a reported $145m.

In addition to an Invictus Games documentary, the couple released the docuseries Harry & Meghan in 2022, however plans for an animated series called Pearl were scrapped.

Since news of the demise of Archetypes broke, there have been reports Meghan is planning a rebrand, including potentially signing a deal with French fashion brand Dior.

9Honey has contacted Gimlet, Spotify and Archewell for comment.
