Meghan takes on her first solo engagements in South Africa

Meghan Markle has undertaken the first of her solo engagements in South Africa.

The Duchess of Sussex left Archie and Prince Harry at home as she arrived at Work In Progress at Woodstock Exchange in Cape Town, where she met with female entrepreneurs.

Sitting among a panel of the women who are either entrepreneurs or investors working in technology, the Duchess spoke passionately about the benefits of aspiring businesswomen learning and growing with the help of female role models.

In a post on Sussex Royal's Instagram about the event, it said: "Each of the women shared amazing stories of how they started in business, the journey they've been on - successes and struggles - but also their ambitions for the future.

"Female empowerment and championing women's rights is a key focus for The Duchess."

Following the Ladies who Launch event, Meghan headed to visit Mothers2Mothers - an African-based charity, which trains and employs women living with HIV as community health workers.

The mum-of-one got down on the floor, sitting cross legged among a group of mums and bubs, showing her maternal side as she played with the little girl seated next to her.

Meghan was also seen playing with other little girls on the play mat.

Before leaving, the Duchess donated a number of clothes and toys that Archie and her friends' kids had outgrown.

"It's so important we're able to share what's worked for our family and know that we're all in this together with each other. So we wanted to share something from our home to each of yours," she said.

Staying in the same outfit for both events, the 38-year-old looked flawless in a black jumpsuit with a deep-v neckline from American retailer Everlane, paired with pointed-toe pumps.

Meghan kept her low bun look from earlier in the morning, which showed off her gold statement earrings from GAS Bijoux, previously worn during the couple's Royal Tour of Morocco.

Earlier in the day, Meghan sported a Club Monaco dress as he met with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter Thandeka at The Tutu and Leah Legacy Foundation.

The proud mum arrived holding son Archie, who made his first appearance on the Royal Tour and completely stole the limelight with his sweet smile.

Meghan will now stay in South Africa with Archie as Prince Harry leaves for a few days, heading first to Botswana, then Angola and Malawi.
