Meghan seen enjoying life in the UK in holiday snaps from her ‘bestie’ visiting from US

The Duchess of Sussex has been seen relaxing at an English pub and in the gardens of her new home with Prince Harry just weeks after moving back to the UK.

Photos of Meghan were shared by her “bestie” Kelly McKee Zajfen on social media.

Meghan has been keeping a low profile since returning to Britain with Prince Harry and their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, four, in late August.

There have been just two other sightings of the duchess in the UK including at Soho Farmhouse, where she was seen meeting friends for coffee.

And earlier this week, the duchess was seen with American television host Ellen DeGeneres at the Three Horseshoes near Burford, Oxfordshire.

Now, one of her closest friends has shared photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex giving many the first real look at their new lives in the UK. Meghan recently shared two videos of her own.

Zajfen and her young son Jack recently visited Meghan and Harry at their new home in the Cotswolds.

Writing on Instagram alongside a collection of photos, Zajfen said: “There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie, and having my sweet Jack along for the adventure”.

“I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures!”

She added: “Family time is just what the heart ordered. With a side of mashed peas and fish n chips! All of it has filled my heart.

“To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend. It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!”

The post included a short video that Meghan filmed of Zajfen with her son and photos of the duchess holding the little one. Another photo is of Harry playing on the floor with Jack, while Princess Lilibet can be seen in another.

Another photo shows Meghan sitting on a table outside in a garden with Zajfen and their friend Markus Anderson, who is a consultant for Soho House.

Zajfen and Meghan have been friends for more than 20 years and the duchess has regularly supported her charity, Alliance of Moms. Zajfen and her husband, Julian, welcomed their Jack in March, four years after they lost their son, George Oliver, to COVID and viral meningitis when he was nine. His twin sister, Lily, is now 13, and lives with a heart condition.

The duchess attended a charity tennis tournament in October last year in support of the family and has previously supported her friend’s advocacy and charity endeavours.

While Prince Harry has attended three events since moving back home, Meghan has remained out of the spotlight. Their two children recently started at a new school closer to home after a security scare forced their withdrawal from another school.
