Louis and Marie Ducruet share first family photo with newborn daughter

Monaco's royal family has welcomed its newest member.

Louis and Marie Ducruet recently welcomed their newborn daughter and have marked the occasion with a sweet new family photo shared to Instagram.

The son of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco is seen holding their dog, Pancake, as he smiles for the camera. His wife Marie sits down holding their two daughters – their firstborn Victoire, one, and, of course, their newborn baby Constance.

She was born in early December, but this is the first photo the family have shared of them all together since her birth.

The children's faces are covered with the words 'Merry Christmas' for privacy but they are both dressed in sweet festive outfits.

Baby Constance wears a red Christmas onesie while Victoire wears a white and red Christmas jumper.

Marie wears a red Christmas jumper while Louis matches the Christmas theme in a green jumper.

"Merry Christmas from the [five] of us," Louis and Marie captioned the photo.

The post was inundated with messages of well wishes for the young family with many wishing a "Merry Christmas to all five" family members.

It comes after they took to Instagram on December 5 to announce the safe arrival of Constance.

"Our family is growing again with the arrival of our little Constance," the couple captioned the post (translated from French).

They shared a series of photos to commemorate the occasion – the first of Constance's hospital band wrapped around her tiny ankle. The second, a photo of young Victoire holding Constance's hospital basinet and the third, a photo of the two sisters holding hands.

"Someone was eager to meet her," they signed off the post.

Many took to the comment section to share messages of congratulations for the couple at the time including the official Prince's Palace of Monaco Instagram account.

Louis, who along with his siblings does not have a royal title, is the eldest son of Princess Stéphanie of Monaco and bodyguard Daniel Ducruet.

The family live in Monaco, along with others within the House of Grimaldi.

Louis and Marie first announced they were expecting another child in June 2024.

The pair shared the news with some help from their daughter and family dog.

"Pancake and goldilocks have an announcement to make... they are expecting a new sibling, the family is growing," the translated post read.

Along with the caption, the couple dressed their one-year-old in a pink jacket with the words "big sis" knitted on the bag.

Meanwhile, their dog wore a cute bandana that read, "Oh no, not again! 2024."

Louis met his future wife Marie while studying at the Skema Business School in France.

After getting engaged in February 2018 in Vietnam, the couple married a year later in 2019 at Monaco Cathedral.

In April 2023, they welcomed their first daughter Victoire.
