Rare look inside King Frederick's life offered to public
A rare look inside King Frederick's life is being offered to the public with the launch of a new exhibition next month.
Announced on the Danish Royal Family's Instagram account, an exhibit titled "Frederik 10. – King of Tomorrow," will be opening later this year, featuring portraits and personal items of the King.
"The exhibition, which is shown on the occasion of the historic change of throne on 14 January, tells about the events and decisions that have helped to shape the King's life and person," the Royal House said.

Personal items in the display include the monarch's gala uniform from the Royal Navy, his first school bag and his dog sledge whip from the Sirius expedition in Greenland, among others.
The items come from The King's collection, which contains objects, costumes and treasures from monarchs throughout history, beginning with King Christian IV.
The exhibition will be taking place at Amalienborg Museum in Christian VIII's Palace at Amalienborg from March 22 to September 8, 2024, before moving to Koldinghus from October 11, 2024 to April 21, 2025.

It comes as his mother, Queen Margrethe of Denmark recently shared a heart-felt message one month on from her abdication on January 14.
Margrethe, 83, shared on the Danish Royal Family's official social media channels the following message that has been translated from Danish to English.
It reads: "Since the turn of the year, I have been pleased to experience the great and warm attention from all parts of the Commonwealth in connection with my abdication exactly one month ago.
"Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the gifts I have received, and to everyone who has either written, drawn, baked, knitted, flagged, sung or otherwise sent a greeting on the occasion of the change of throne," she continues.
The royal ended her message by saying: "The many greetings have gone to my heart and I have appreciated each one."
She signed off with a pen emoji next to her name "Queen Margrethe."
