King Charles spotted picking up litter along English beach
King Charles joined volunteers taking part in a community beach clean-up initiative along the coastline in Deal, England on Thursday (Friday morning AEST).
His Majesty looked appalled by the number of plastic bottles he came across as he walked the pebble beach in Kent, south-east of London.
Although, dressed in a cream suit and sunglasses for the outing, the 76-year-old also appeared to relish in cleaning them up.

The monarch paused to wave to crowds lining the beach as he held a grabber arm in his hand, to help with his garbage collection efforts.
King Charles is known for spruiking conservation of the environment and has long been a rubbish collector, with Princes William and Harry forced to do their bit as kids.
The brothers spoke about the family tradition of picking up trash on holidays in the 2019 documentary celebrating the then-Prince of Wales' 70th birthday.

"He took us litter picking when we were younger, on holiday," Prince William recalled in Prince Charles at 70.
"We were in Norfolk on school holidays and we went out litter picking with him.
"We thought this is perfectly normal, everyone must do it. We were there with our spikes stabbing the rubbish into black plastic bags."

Similarly, Prince Harry thought it was the norm but admitted he was teased at school over it.
Ultimately as an adult though he says he's happy he's been "programmed to do it".
"I used to get taken the mickey out of at school for picking up rubbish," Harry said in the documentary.
"I didn't go out consciously looking for it but when you go for walks anywhere and you see something and it stands out, you pick it up.
"I've literally done this because I'm programmed to do it because my father did it. We should all be doing it."
King Charles has long spoken of starting a Clean Up Australia-style national litter picking day but that hasn't come to fruition as yet.
