Prince Louis then joined the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, where newly-crowned King Charles and Queen Camilla waved to the waiting crowd.

The five-year-old even did well during the ceremony, with the help of a short break facilitated by a nanny.

He was also seen yawning from time to time, which is to be expected of one so young.

Prince Louis, who is fifth in line to the British throne following his father Prince William, brother Prince George and sister Princess Charlotte, skipped the King's Coronation Concert held on the grounds of Windsor Castle on May 7.

However, he did join his family for a visit to 3rd Upton Scouts Hut in Slough the next day.

Prince George, nine, helped his father drill holes into a wooden box, capably holding the tool while still under the watchful eye of the adults.
