King Charles cheered outside royal engagement after recent protests
King Charles was cheered by crowds as he left a royal engagement in Marylebone on Wednesday.
Video on social media of His Majesty getting back into his car after visiting with members of the Sudanese community in London showed the 74-year-old greeted with sentiments like "we love you" and "God save the King".
The positive reception comes after several protest in crowds during engagements attended by himself and wife Camilla, Queen Consort in recent months.

King Charles and the Queen Consort were recently booed on a visit to Colchester, while some republicans have attempted unsuccessfully to egg the monarch.
But on Wednesday it seemed to be a positive reception all round, as the King grinned broadly while being shown photographs, drawings and objects brought from Sudan.

The visit was to mark the 20th anniversary of the conflict in Darfur and members of the local community shared their memories of that time in the region and the impact it had on their lives.

The initiative is designed to be "a visual representation of unity and solidarity" as well as "an empowerment and peacebuilding project" within the community.
King Charles made the visit solo, while Camilla attended the Cheltenham Races.
