William and Kate share special moment at Commonwealth Day service
The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a special moment at the Commonwealth Day service in the UK.
Prince William, 42, and Kate Middleton, 43, attended the service at Westminster Abbey alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla on March 10.
William and Kate have endured a challenging time of late, but it's clear they are closer than ever.

Royal watchers were delighted to see the pair attend the service together, with William staying close to his wife of 14 years throughout the ceremony.
The royal couple greeted two young children outside the Abbey, where Kate was handed a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.
The pair made their way inside the historic building, which is where they married in April 2011.

William and Kate stood alongside key figures as King Charles and Queen Camilla entered the Abbey, with Kate executing a perfect curtsey.
Father and son greeted each other warmly with a kiss on the cheek before they took their seats.
While seated, William and Kate were spotted leaning close to each other, chatting before a moment of shared laughter.

Royal reporter Ingrid Seward told PEOPLE their couple's bond is clear.
"William must feel so fortunate that Kate has come through this that he wants to tell the world about that love. It shows the intimacy of them sharing that journey together," she said, adding that they are able to "express themselves in a way they would never have done before."
William shared a special post for his wife's birthday on January 9.

"To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you've shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you… We love you," he wrote.
Both King Charles and the Princess of Wales were diagnosed with cancer in early 2024. While the princess has entered remission, Charles' treatment continues.
Charles and Kate were unable to attend Commonwealth Day service in 2024 due to their ill health.

Their attendance this year is considered a triumphant return.
The royals were also joined by the Princess Royal and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester for the service.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh didn't attend, with reports the duchess is currently in New York.
The Commonwealth Day service is one of the most important on the royal calendar.
King Charles is Head of the Commonwealth, a role he took over from his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
This year's Commonwealth Day theme is 'Together We Thrive'.

In His Majesty's Commonwealth Day message, printed in the program, the King paid tribute to the "untold sacrifice and selflessness" of Commonwealth forces who answered the call to fight with Britain and its allies in the Second World War.
