A private investigator has revealed the top signs you should look out for if you suspect your partner is cheating.

In a video posted on TikTok, 'Down Under Investigations' revealed the top five tell-tale signs of a unfaithful spouse: "Top 5 signs you've got a cheater on your hands."

"They lie about big things and small things, they get excessively defensive, they gaslight," the investigator claimed.

The investigator replied, "Totally agree! New clothes, obsession with perfume/aftershave, more time showering and washing own clothes."

Another added, "When their phone is suddenly flat, or on silent all the time... disappear randomly."

"Yep, the phone behaviour changing is a very big sign!" the investigator responded.

A third chimed in, "Phone face down and with them at ALL times" to which the investigator replied, "Yep, messaging late at night, taking phone everywhere."
