Phoebe Burgess gets candid about sex post-divorce: 'I miss it'

Phoebe Burgess say she is ready to start dating again following her divorce from NRL star Sam Burgess in 2019.

The influencer has discussed her future relationship plans in the latest episode of her podcast Under The Gloss, in which she discussed open relationships – or "ethical non-monogamy" – with makeup artist Max Sorrento and sex coach Georgia Grace.

Burgess, 32, confessed she hasn't had sex "in a really long time" and she misses it, but added she considers herself "high maintenance" when it comes to dating.

"I'm high maintenance if someone was dating me, not when someone is hanging out with me, I'm very chill," she said.

"Maybe I was in an open relationship and I didn't know," she jokes.

Burgess, who shared two children with her ex-husband, admitted to an embarrassing moment while driving in to record the podcast episode.

"I was listening to your podcast on the way in and had Georgia's voice blaring on the radio, and your voice said, 'People don't come to me to get tips for 10 orgasms a day'," Burgess explained.

At the time she was driving into a carpark and a security person overhead the comment about orgasms.

"And I was like, 'It's research!" Phoebe explained.

"It was one of those moments I thought, 'Why are we so weird about sex?'"

She then added: "I felt like saying, 'It's okay, I haven't had an orgasm from someone in a really long time and it's definitely not about me."'

Later in the podcast she confessed she "missed" sex.

Phoebe and Sam Burgess were married in 2015 and separated in late 2018 following reports of infidelity on his part. They have two children, Poppy, four, and Billy, two.

The pair reunited and welcomed their son, only to split permanently in 2019.
