Andy Murray's mum has cheeky response to son's relatable Olympics moment
Andy Murray's mum has shared a cheeky response after a video of her son at the Olympics gained attention on X.
The recently retired British tennis player, who played his last professional tennis match at Paris 2024, was spotted in the crowd of the Women's Artistic Gymnastics final in the French capital.
While Simone Biles took out the top score in the Women's Vault final, Murray watched on eagerly as he chowed down on a chocolate iced doughnut.

A clip of the relatable moment was posted to X by WSB TV sports reporter Alison Mastrangelo.
"Who knew @andy_murray just like all of us at home eating donuts and watching the women's gymnastics -- so relatable," she captioned the video.
At the time of writing, Mastrangelo's post has racked up 2.6 million views.
One of those viewers was Murray's mum, Judy Murray, who reshared the clip adding her two cents.
"When you can finally eat whatever you want," she wrote, embellishing her caption with a donut and pig emoji.
The cheeky quip comes as Murray had just hung up his tennis shoes, ending his career with one last match at the global sporting event.
Hundreds of thousands reacted to her post with fans sharing their pride for the tennis great.

It's not the only cheeky quip that has come out of Murray's time at the Olympics and his retirement.
Shortly after he played his final game, Murray took to X with a simple post.
"Never even liked tennis anyway," he wrote with the post going instantly viral.

Murray was also quick to change his bio on X from "I play tennis" to "I played tennis".
Despite an emotional farewell to the sport, it appears Murray is taking in this new chapter in his stride and enjoying all the Olympic Games has to offer – including making good use of the snacks on offer.
