'Are you single?': Young reporter's adorable request for NRL star Reece Walsh

When a young reporter interviewed NRL star Reece Walsh, she had one very special question for him.

Indy-Rose, who is a host for Juiced TV, an entertainment initiative based at the Queensland Children's Hospital, left the Broncos fullback blushing when she asked him, "Are you single?"

When Walsh confirmed he is in fact single, Indy-Rose had an adorable request.

"Would you like to meet my nurse? She is gorgeous and she needs to go on a date," she said.

Walsh was immediately on board.

"Yeah, I can meet your nurse, where is she? Is she here today? Should we get her in here?" he responded.

Speaking with Today hosts Sarah Abo and Karl Stefanovic this morning, Indy-Rose revealed that while Walsh did agree to a date with her nurse, he hasn't yet followed through.

"I decided to just ask him if he was single and see if he wanted to go on a date with my nurse," she said.

"He said, 'Yeah, sure,' but he still hasn't asked her yet."

"He's got to hold up his end of the bargain," Abo responded in shock.

Asked what she would now say to Walsh, Indy-Rose paused to think for a moment before emphatically saying, "Come on Reece, go ask her."

As for what Indy-Rose believes makes her nurse so special, she said, "She's pretty, cool, fun and funny".

"What a combination," Abo said.

Putting aside her disappointment that he hasn't yet reached out to her nurse, Indy-Rose said interviewing Walsh at the Juiced TV headquarters at Queensland Children's Hospital was "cool and lots of fun".

During their time together, Indy-Rose revealed that the duo also took turns painting each other's nails.

The young Maroons supporter had her nails painted in the classic Broncos colours.

Soon after the interview, Indy-Rose was also able to go out onto the field with Walsh and watch her first ever game.

"It was awesome, I loved it," Indy-Rose said of the experience.

Wrapping up the interview, Stefanovic asked Indy-Rose to "let us know what happens with your nurse and Reece Walsh alright".

But just before she said goodbye, Indy-Rose had one last request for Reece.

"Can I tell you guys one more thing quickly. The thing that I want to do with Reece Walsh is go to Movie World to see who's the daredevil to go on a ride," she said.

"We can probably make that happen," Stefanovic added.

"Love you so much," Indy-Rose added as she farewelled Abo and Stefanovic.
