Mum left in stitches after daughter's school photo mishap

A US woman has proudly taken the title of "bad mum" after a small mistake turned into a hilarious life-long memory.

Paige was left in stitches over an awkward wardrobe malfunction in her toddler's school photos, thanks to the slogan t-shirt she had decided to dress her in that day.

While her daughter smiled adorably at the camera, her shirt, with the cheeky phrase "sasshole" printed across the front, underwent a last-minute transformation.

The toddler accidentally covered the "S" on the shirt right as the photo was taken.

Sharing the hilarious photo to TikTok, Paige joked, "If you ever thought you were a bad mum… At least you didn't forget picture day, and send your toddler to nursery in this."

The video, viewed more than 11.3 million times, shows Paige grimacing at her computer screen before flipping the lens and showing off four different versions of her daughter's school picture.

The toddler proudly smiles as her shirt brands her an "a---hole".

Naturally, most parents told her to order the photos immediately.

"Order order order!!! I'd have it hanging in the living room," wrote one TikTok user.

"That photographer knew what they were doing," commented another.

"Two words: Christmas card," suggested one person.

"You have to order them! She will love to see these someday!" said another commenter.

Others criticised the mum for sending her to school in the shirt in the first place, despite Paige clarifying she had forgotten it was picture day.

"Why would you ever send your toddler to school with that on?" one person wrote, to which Paige responded, "Because I'm a bad parent Karen."

The video received more than 20,000 comments, launching Paige's parenting faux pas into social media fame.

"This video is getting way too much attention," she laughed.

One user posed the question we were all thinking: "Bad mum…. Or mum of the year?"

"I'm going with the second one," they added.

It's a memorable school picture, at least.
