Miss Grand Thailand contestant makes effortless recovery after teeth fall out on stage

She's beauty, and she's grace, she's losing her teeth on stage.

A beauty pageant contestant was the epitome of "the show must go on" after her veneers fell out mid-sentence at the Miss Grand Thailand pageant.

Kamolwan Chanago, 18, was delivering her speech at the pageant's preliminaries when the top row of her false teeth fell out, landing at the bottom of her mouth.

Without missing a beat, Chanago swiftly reaches into her mouth while spinning around, placing them back in before facing the camera again and posing.

She then takes a step forward and struts down the stage in a runway-like fashion.

She posed once more and effortlessly exited the stage, never faulting for even a second.

The crowd cheered her on as she walked.

The video has since gone viral online, with users applauding how "effortlessly" she handled the situation.

"She handled this with such poise," one person wrote.

"Such a divaaa. 👑 More power to her. Truly inspirational. I would have had a panic attack right there if I were in her shoes," another comment said.

"She handled this better than most of us handle a bad hair day. Is this the most iconic pageant moment ever," another spectator told People Magazine.

However, some comments weren't as supportive, with people saying they had have "nightmares like this."

"This is also one of those moments where twenty years could pass and it still hits you in the middle of the night. Just mortifying," one commenter wrote.

Chanago herself is clearly not embarrassed by the incident, sharing the video of the moment to her Instagram with the caption "Going International," poking fun at the mishap.

Since the incident, a spokesperson for Miss Grand International has released a statement, saying Chanago "handled the situation with professionalism and composure."

The Pageant includes 77 Thai women competing for the title of Miss Grand Thailand 2026. The winner will then go on to become a contestant for the Miss Grand International pageant being held in India in October.

The Miss Grand Thailand's final will take place on March 28 in Bangkok.
