AFL star Lachie Neale shares cryptic post about heartbreak months on from marriage breakdown
Lachie Neale has shared a cryptic post on social media, referencing heartbreak after his very public split from wife Jules.
The AFL star remained in Brisbane, moving into a new place, while she relocated back to Perth with their two children after their marriage breakdown made headlines last year, resulting in them selling their home.
In a photo dump on Instagram the Brisbane Lions midfielder included some recent moments with his kids, but also a telling clip from the TV series Peaky Blinders.

In the short clip, Tommy Shelby - the main character of the series - asks his love interest Grace Burgess to sing for him.
Asking if he would prefer a happy or sad song, he said: "Sad".
"OK. But I warn you, I'll break your heart," she quipped back.
Tommy then replies, "Already broken."

The sportsman also shared a snap of himself on the AFL field, and a selfie as he does some recovery in a sauna.
The relationship between Jules and Lachie ended last year, when she shared in a post on Instagram that she had been "betrayed in the most unimaginable way".
At the time rumours were circulating that the former couple were were working through relationship issues.
"I want to make it very clear that I am not 'working through' anything," Jules said.
"I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.
"All I can do now is to heal and do what's best for my children."

Lachie then confirmed the separation while addressing the media in early January.
"I have let my family down, and I apologise for my actions which have hurt those closest to me. For that I am deeply sorry," he said.
Lachie added that he had to "accept" the consequences of his actions, but was focused on rebuilding trust with Neale because the wellbeing of their children remained their biggest priority.
In the months since their highly public split, Jules has attended several events, like the F1 and Australian Open Tennis.
Meanwhile it's been back to work for Lachie as the AFL season kicked off, squeezing in time with his kids when possible.
