Mila De Jesus' husband speaks out after the influencer's shock death

The husband of a Brazilian influencer who died on January 12 has opened up about his terrible loss.

Mila De Jesus passed away at age 35. She and husband George Kowszik had only been married for four months.

He shared on Facebook: "I am not really good with words and talking here. I lost my beautiful wife and my best friend yesterday that I love so much for her [sic].

"I don't know what to say."

A day later he posted: "Hello everyone of my wife's and I friend's and family. Your beautiful kind, caring and loving beautiful words and incredible inspiring PRAYERS have instilled such PEACE in my life of 60yrs on this earth I ever felt."

He spoke of his faith helping him through this challenging time.

"I will never ever forget what God has blessed me and my beautiful and her very wonderful children God has also blessed with me," he continued. "I'm sorry I can't talk right now.. crying too much. forgive me."

Kowszik then shared three posts filled with photos of the couple, including of their wedding.

His most recent post shared her funeral details and obituary.

De Jesus is also survived by her four children from a previous relationship including daughter Anna Clara, who had announced on the influencer's Instagram page January 15.

Clara wrote: "I Anna Clara, am posting this condolence note. We are very sad to hear of the passing of our beautiful mother. We appreciate all the prayers and condolences. Continue to pray for us. Thank you."

Her cause of her death has not been revealed.

De Jesus rose to fame by documenting her weight loss journey following bariatric surgery in 2017 and tummy tuck the following year.

Just months before her passing she reflected on the journey, also sharing before and after photos.

"13 years between one picture... 6 years since a decision that changed my life in so many ways," Mila wrote on Instagram in November.

"On one side Mila aged 22 and on the other Mila aged 35, how much we change huh, how we grow and how we learn. Pride girl pride #bariatrica #bypass #antesedepois #weightlosstransformation #beforeandafter."

Her final post showed her sitting in the snow just a week before her death and playing with her son.

De Jesus fans have expressed their shock at her sudden death.

The influencer had a following of 65,600 on Instagram and regularly shared posts, including from her September wedding.
