Woman discovers mother-in-law spying through baby cam: 'Literally the tip of the iceberg'

Getting along with toxic in-laws is near impossible, and despite one woman's best efforts, her situation with her mother-in-law (MIL) seems to be getting worse.

Kiyah Ramirez explains on TikTok @kiyahramire: "Put a finger down if you get to get engaged to the love of your life and everything is great and life is great and your in-laws love you and your parents love your fiancé and then soon after you have your kid you get pregnant and you're super excited to share the news with your parents and your in laws.

"You decide to tell your in-laws first and they are super f--ken pissed and now they hate you all of a sudden and you aren't really sure why," she continues.

Soon enough Kiyah discovered why her in-laws are so angry with her, with the help of her fiancé's detective skills.

She says she and her fiancé decided to "let things cool off" ahead of a trip to see her in laws that coming weekend.

She says she rang her parents to share the good news and to discuss the situation with her in-laws with them. They encouraged her to give her in-laws the benefit of the doubt, which she has been trying to do.

The next day she says her in-laws disinvited them from the planned visit that weekend, telling Kiyah's fiancé he "allows" her to "sh-t talk them".

She says they were both very confused by the situation. Her fiancé went to take a shower and came running back into the bedroom, pointing at the baby camera her MIL had set up in their home six months earlier.

Kiyah says they concluded her in-laws have been spying on them the entire time.

"I would be pressing charges!!! Wow!!!" writes one.

"The way he figured it out first and you was like no way….. speaks VOLUMES! like your daddy said family dynamics are DIFFERENT," another comments.

"What the heck I would be taking her to court," says another.

"Ummm is that not illegal," one person writes.

Kiyah adds in the comments: "Girl that's literally the tip of the iceberg. I could go on for days with the things they've done."

One person asks: "That's crazy about the monitor. You should sue. But what was said/ done to make them mad about a pregnancy. We missing some pieces."

"Omg get a restraining order," says another.
