Melania Trump's body double conspiracy theory resurfaces

Late last year, rumours were circulating about Melania Trump having a body double.

Now, new photos of Melania in Brussels have sparked a new debate about the US first lady and her possibility of having a stand-in.

Earlier this week, US President Donald Trump and Melania landed in Brussels ahead of the NATO summit.

Naturally, there were an abundance of photographers waiting to capture the moment when the Trumps stepped off Air Force One.

It didn’t take long for the conspiracy theorists to come out of the woodwork, once more.

Many people were suspicious that the first lady didn’t really look herself, therefore she must have a body double.

This new round of discussion comes a few months after the 48-year-old completely disappeared from the public eye after undergoing an embolisation procedure to treat a benign kidney condition.

Again, that lengthy absence fuelled a barrage of rumours and speculation was at an all-time high as White House staff remained tight-lipped about the situation.

Suspicion that Melania had a body double first started taking hold back in October last year after a press conference where the public thought Melania looked a little “off”.

The President drove suspicion higher with a strange remark: “My wife Melania, who happens to be right here.”

Although once her sunglasses were removed at this press conference, it revealed the woman was indeed Melania.

However, those who are believers have pointed out that one of the Secret Service agents employed by the Trump’s shares an uncanny resemblance to the former model.
