New details on missing woman turned away from nightclub

New footage of missing UK student Libby Squire has surfaced, depicting the young woman moments before she was turned away from a nightclub the night she disappeared.

The newly released footage shows Squire, 21, walking along a slippery snow-covered path, heading towards the Welly Club in Hull. 

She arrived at the club around 11:18pm on January 31, but was denied entry as she had already had too much to drink.

Squire’s friends then called a taxi for the young woman, which was to take her back to her university flats. However, she never went inside.

She was last seen on a park bench near her student accommodation around 11:45pm, with CCTV footage showing her then getting into another car and being driven away at 12:09am.

A woman near Squire’s last destination claims she heard "bloodcurdling screams" at 12.30am – around 20 minutes after she vanished.

The case has rocked the town of Hull, with a massive search currently underway. Local Lukasz Rybus released the latest footage of Libby, shot from the camera of a business next to the club, hoping it would help authorities locate the woman's whereabouts.

Speaking to the Mail Online, he said: "I want Libby to be found, to be back with her family and friends."

"I just hope that this footage helps jog someone's memory, if it helps someone remember seeing her, that can only be a positive thing."

Police are currently treating Squire's disappearance as a "missing person's enquiry," and are still "keeping an open mind as to her whereabouts," Detective Superintendent Mathew Hutchinson said.

"Our number one priority is to find Libby Squire and we are still conducting extensive searches and appealing for any information from the public."

Yesterday Polish butcher Pawel Relowicz, 24, was accused of carrying out an unrelated sex act in Squire's street days before she vanished. He is currently under investigation over the student's disappearance.

The parents of the young woman have released a heartbreaking appeal for any new information, asking anyone to come forward.
