Korean skincare just got easier to find in Australia after launching in major retailer
Korean skincare just got a whole lot more accessible.
A handful of Korean Beauty brands have landed in Kmart stores across Australia in the store's latest jump into a $160 million industry.
Aussies are among the biggest consumers of Korean Beauty products globally, according to data from Future Market Insights.

Korean skincare products are popular because they focus on building up the skin barrier, hydrating the skin and layering products to achieve what is known as a "glass skin" look.
They do utilise acids and retinols, but they mix them with deeply moisturising products to limit any sensitivities or reactions.
It's also popular because its experimental, utilising unique products like snail mucin and rice extract, which are not found in western beauty products.

Although popular, Korean beauty products can be expensive and hard to get your hands on. Kmart
Now, some of the most popular products and brands are available at Kmart.
The viral COSRX advanced snail mucin gel cleanser is part of the collection launched by the brand, available online and in-store for $28.
Snail Mucin, a substance secreted by snails, is one of the most popular Korean skincare beauty products. Although it sounds gross, it's actually known to be great for your skin.
The mucin brightens and moisturises the skin, with the ingredient known to help heal the skin barrier.
COSRX has a cult following, thanks to their snail mucin products.
Kmart also stocks the brands advanced snail 96 mucin power essence, the AHA/BHA clarifying treatment toner, hyaluronic acid hydra power essence, their BHA blackhead power liquid and their morning gel cleanser.
They also sell a number of facemasks from the brand. COSRX is also available at BONIIK, and online retailer Adore Beauty, at the same price point.

K-Beauty brand Some by Mi is also available at the store, with Kmart stocking their 30 day miracle serum, blackhead miracle bubble cleanser and a few face masks.

Since Kmart has started stocking the Korean beauty products, shoppers have taken to social media to express their excitement over the launch.
"Run don't walk to Kmart for the new Korean Skincare Range," one video posted to TikTok says.
"Korean skincare at Kmart? I didn't expect this!" another person said.
