Ivanka Trump gushes over Victoria's Secret model Karlie Kloss

Ivanka Trump has shown she's just like the rest of us and loves a bit of reality TV.

The daughter of President Trump tuned into to catch the season return of Project Runway in the US, and took to Twitter to cheer on it's new host Karlie Kloss.

While it may seem a little random for a White House adviser to be giving a shout out to a Victoria's Secret model, the pair actually have more in common than some might realise - they're sisters-in-law.

Kloss married Joshua Kushner, brother of Trump's husband Jared Kushner, last year.

Taking to social media in a short video, the mum-of-three was casually dressed in a sweater and with her blonde hair pulled back off her face.

The 37-year-old excitedly squealed in the supportive post: “Karlie it’s happening!”

Moving the camera over her shoulder, Trump shows Kloss, 26, on-screen before pulling back to give a big thumbs up, adding: "Amazing!"

Kloss, who is also the face of Swarovski and besties with Taylor Swift, has taken the reins over from Heidi Klum, who played host of the show for 16 seasons.

The model and TV presenter married Joshua in an intimate ceremony last October, with just 80 guests invited.

It's not known if Ivanka and Jared were among those there.

However, Trump paid tribute to her sister-in-law on social media, sharing a photo of the bride and groom.

When the couple announced their engagement, she commented: "So, so happy for you and Josh!"

"I feel blessed to have you as a sister (!!!) Karlie and look forward to the decades of happy memories we will create together as a family!"
