Alexa Dell has grown up as the heiress of Dell Technologies -- the computer company her father founded while at university -- and has a jet-setting lifestyle to match.
The 24-year-old shares her travels and adventures on social media and it was no different while in Hawaii over Christmas when her boyfriend of one year popped the question.
Alexa took to Instagram to praise Arshia Harrison Refoua's taste in diamonds after he presented her with a 12ct emerald cut pave halo engagement ring.
The blinding bling was posted on Alexa's Instagram Stories with the caption "he did good".
Some jewellery experts value the bauble around the $3 million mark but it's exact value is unknown, as it would vary dependant on the clarity and colour of the diamonds used.
"Thank you for all the well wishes and congratulations. We’re so happy to share this with all of you," Alexa wrote in another Instagram post.
Real estate investor Refoua, 40, got down on one knee while the couple were enjoying a candlelit dinner on the beach at The Four Seasons on the island of Kona - a hotel owned by Alexa's father.
Like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the pair were set up by mutual friends on a blind date.
Alexa previously dated Tinder CEO Sean Rad, whom she met via the app but she has recently been associated with rival dating app Bumble, posting pictures from their events on social media.
According to LinkedIn, the heiress with a net-worth of $24 million, is a Columbia University graduate who now works as a Brand and Business Development Strategist for startups.
