One of the saddest possible outcomes of a wedding is a fractured friendship – but that's exactly what happened to TV presenter Shelly Horton when she was asked to be on the bridal party of a friend she met at university.

Horton shared the story while discussing the question "Is it ever okay to say 'no' to participating in a wedding without ruining the friendship?" with the Talking Honey relationship special panelists Dr John Aiken from MAFS and 9Honey's Jane de Graaff and Jo Abi.

Aiken gave Horton some wise advice about the fallout of her decision and the resulting impact on her friendship.
