This $25 bottle of Pinot Noir has been crowned the best in Australia
Wine lovers on a budget – this one's for you.
Everyone knows you can get a cheap bottle of wine, walk into any bottle shop and there'll be plenty of options under $20, even some under $15, and if you're brave enough, some under $10.
But it's often hit and miss. If you don't know what you're shopping for, a $20 bottle of wine can sometimes end up being quite... offensive to the taste buds.

But this bottle of homegrown red has just taken home the title of Australia's best Pinot Noir, and a bottle will only set you back $25.
The Beyond the Wilderness Pinot Noir was awarded a Double Gold medal at the Melbourne International Wine Competition, achieving the highest score of 96 points.
And it's not the first time the bottle has won big, also taking home the gold medal at the 2023 awards.
If you're wondering who could possibly be qualified to decide on the best Pinot Noit in Australia? Well, it's a panel of people well versed in the area.
The expert judging panel was comprised of industry buyers, with the Melbourne International Wine Competition regarded as a respected event in the International Beverage Competition Series.
This year, the judges tasted more than 1000 wines from around the world across 50 different categories.
Overall, Coles Liquor Group cleaned up at the awards with two gold medals, three silver and three bronze.
