'My face is basically melted': Slipknot rocker Sid Wilson shares health update after suffering burns in fire accident

Kelly Osbourne's partner and Slipknot turntablist Sid Wilson has spoken out in a new interview after sustaining burns following a fire accident.

Wilson, 47, told Fox News Digital his "face is basically melted" following the incident, which took place on the weekend.

Saying his arms are bandaged, he said: "My face is basically melted from nose down. But the swelling's gone down, and they said the face is kind of amazing that it's regenerative, it happens real fast, seems to heal quickly."

"I've had better days, I guess, but I'm alive, so I'm doing good."

Wilson said he learned his lesson after the accident and clarified what happened, saying he "added gas" to a a wood burn pile on their Iowa property.

He said it then just "exploded".

He also praised his partner Osbourne for taking care of him after his hospital dash, calling her "amazing".

It was reported on the weekend that Wilson suffered burns in an accident.

Slipknot also shared a post on Instagram sharing news of the incident with their fans.

"Our brother Sid Wilson was in an accident today and sustained burns across his body," the band said in the statement.

"He's recovering with his family and will still join us on stage at Rocklahoma next weekend. He thanks everyone for the well wishes, and will see you all soon."

Since the accident, Wilson has been keeping fans updated by sharing videos and pictures of his recovery.
