The most googled recipe of 2020 wasn't even for food, the internet giant has revealed.
'Hand sanitiser' was the most searched for recipe on Google for the pandemic year.

And the second most common thing people wanted to know how to make was sourdough bread, a result of the lockdown craze.
Tasty meals like beef stroganoff and spaghetti bolognese were next on the search list

Crumpets, banana bread, donuts, Anzac biscuits, and the popular French delicacy macarons were also googled by hungry computer users.

Searches starting with 'how to' were also topped with hand sanitiser, while face masks, self raising flour and whipped 'Dalgona' coffee also featured.
