Lindt recently completed a study in 2023 that concluded despite Aussies considering Easter a gifting season, it's more common for shoppers to buy chocolate for themselves and to share, rather than for presents.

As a result of this study, Lindt released their new block version of the golden bunny to align with the way Aussies do Easter.
