Brisbane locals, you're in for a treat today.

If you had plans for today, cancel them quick-smart and head down to the Valley, where LA-based burger chain In-N-Out will be slinging buns for one day only.

From 9am to 3pm today, Brisbanites will be able to get their hands on a coveted In-N-Out burger with three options available on the menu.

Up for grabs will be the Animal Style burger, Protein Style burger, and the classic (for good reason) Double-Double burger.

Popping up at The Sound Garden on Brunswick Street in Fortitude Valley, the fan favourite burger chain will be open for 6 hours or until sold out.

The news was shared super last minute via The Sound Garden's Instagram page.

Posting the announcement just one day before the pop-up was due to happen, The Sound Garden urged burger lovers to "queue early" to make sure they don't miss out.

In case you don't remember, In-N-Out has done this before, and every time it's absolute mayhem.

Think massive queues, decent wait times, and sold out burgers.

Previous pop-ups have taken place in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane, with some selling out in as little as 30 minutes.

This will be the second time cult favourite fast food chain has visited Brisbane, with the last pop-up being one chaotic day back in 2020 where burgers sold out in just a few hours.

So basically, there's no time to mess around.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to order any items from the infamous secret menu, but we can still hold out hopes that these pop ups are a sign the fast food chain could be looking at introducing a permanent location down under with the full menu available.

For now though, pop your packed lunch in the fridge, and hurry down to the Valley ASAP before it's all gone.
