Professional baker Bridget Forehan shares her go-to treat for when she can't really be bothered baking
Baking is one of those things that pops into your head and in the moment it feels like a great idea, but after you've gone through the process of finding a recipe, shopping for ingredients, and you're halfway through throwing it all together, you're kind of over it.
But, sometimes, it's a task that must be endured.
Especially when you've got guests coming round – because there's always that one person who seemingly has their life perfectly pieced together who's going to give you that look if they find out the evening's desserts are store-bought rather than homemade.
To solve this issue, 9honey Kitchen asked professional baker Bridget Forehan for her go-to recipe when she wants to impress people, but she also can't really be bothered.

"For me, it will always be my fondant sugar cookies," she said.
"I always like taking my cookies wherever I go. I have so many cutters, patterns and stamps to use with fondant."
She added that the beauty of a fondant sugar cookie is the freedom to make them unique and individual for all different kinds of events.
"You can easily customise each cookie, they add a personal touch to every event and always make a beautiful gift," Forehan said.
"The dough is quick to whip up, the fondant can be coloured while I allow the dough to chill before baking.
"I am in my element, adding the final decorations and embellishment to each cookie to make them special for everyone and every occasion."
Fondant sugar cookies aren't something that's hard to whip up either, it's just a simple sugar cookie dough, topped with whatever kind of fondant and decoration feels right!
We have a feeling, though, that Forehan's cookies may look a little more impressive than our own, especially since they caught the eye of an A-lister.
"OMG, my biggest pinch me moment! I still can't believe it happened," she said of the time actress Blake Lively interacted with her content.

It first happened a little more than two years ago when she created a five-tier cake masterpiece to celebrate the release of Taylor Swift's song I Bet You Think About Me.
Being a huge Swiftie herself, it was a no brainer for Forehan; of course she wanted to make something to honour the queen.
But she never expected Swift's bestie – and director of the song's music video, which featured a similar cake – to not only see her post, but like and comment too.
Then, to celebrate Lively's casting in the film adaption of Colleen Hoover's novel It Ends With Us, Forehan instantly knew what she wanted to do – make some fondant sugar cookies.

"Honestly, I created those cookies because I enjoyed the book and I'm a fan of Blake's," she explains.
"I could picture how the cookies would turn out instantly."
Forehan posted a Reel to Instagram showing off the intricate cookies she'd designed in honour of the movie, and this time Lively liked, commented, "INSANITY", and even re-shared the post.
