The two new chocolate blocks everyone is talking about
There are two new chocolate blocks everyone is talking about, and so far, opinions on them are mixed. One has been an instant hit, and the other seems to be a bit of a miss.
The first is Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff which has hit supermarket shelves across the country.
The flavour collaboration seems to be one of Cadbury's better ideas, combining the familiar creaminess of Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate with the rich caramel flavour of Biscoff.

Coles is selling them for $8 for a 170g block or two for $10. Woolworth's website lists them as currently out of stock.
Early reports suggest plenty of chocolate lovers are fans of this new release, but some expressed disappointment at the lack of a soft centre.
Instead, Cadbury Dairy Milk Biscoff combines the chocolate with a biscuit crumb.
Food bloggers Nectorious Papi and Nick Vavitiss reviewed the block and were left disappointed.

"To me that just tasted like a crunchy Dairy Milk block," Vavitiss said.
Nectorious Papi said Cadbury and Biscoff had signed up for a "long-term partnership" so Aussie shoppers can expect more collaborations in the future. He is hoping for one "filled with Biscoff spread".
Neither felt the Biscoff flavour was strong enough.
"I could literally see the disappointment in your eyes after five seconds," one of their followers commented.
"They should have added the Biscoff spread or made a dream white chocolate with crunchy Biscoff filling," another said.
Fellow food blogger Russ Eats agreed, labelling the block "not good". He too wanted the spread.
"This genuinely has to be the easiest missed opportunity of all time. This would have been a best seller if it was the spread," one of his followers commented.
"It's really not hard to just fill the little crevices with Biscoff spread!! That's CLEARLY what the world was hoping for when we said we want a Cadbury Biscoff block!" another said.

"Biscoff is so over rated. I don't get it," added another.
Nestle's latest collaboration seems to be more successful. They have released Milkybar Nesquik Strawberry Chocolate, which will hopefully be followed by a Milkybar Nesquik Banana Chocolate block.

Nectorious Papi gave this one a thumbs up.
"That is insane!" he said.
"Lowkey want this framed as artwork for the house it's so pretty," one of his followers commented.
Coles is selling them for $5.25 for a 170g block, down from $7.50, although stock is selling fast and it can be difficult to find.

Here's hoping 2026 brings many more delicious flavour collaborations like this one.
In this instance, one's a hit, one's a miss, but with chocolate, you can't ever really go wrong.
