Your favourite ice-cream sheriff Bubble O'Bill now comes in a four-pack for the first time ever

Aussies can finally pick up multipacks of Bubble O'Bill ice-creams on their grocery run, with Streets debuting four-packs of the nostalgic dessert.

It's the first time the iconic bubblegum treat has been available in a multipack since its launch into mainstay Aussie culture 35 years ago.

The ice-cream sheriff has previously come in tub form, which I think we can all agree is no substitute for the cowboy hat-wearing, moustached, chocolate-coated head on a stick.

The move comes following overwhelming demand from Australians, according to Streets, with the multipack arriving in Aussie supermarket freezers in time for summer.

Streets marketing manager Annie Lucchitti says the company worked hard to make the four-pack release a reality.

"If now is not the right time for four times the Bubble O'Bill joy in your life, I'm not sure when it will be! Our loving fans have been knocking on our door for years asking for more Bubble O'Bill – so we did everything we could to make it happen," she says.

"Aussies have loved Bubble O'Bill since 1986 and we've also seen so many incredibly creative ways that fans have celebrated him over time: from artwork, to jewellery, and even clothing!"

"There's nothing better than sharing ice-cream and a laugh with friends during the warmer months, so this is the perfect time for us to launch Bubble O'Bill times four!" says Lucchitti.

Bubble O'Bill autobiography: O' is Me

On the back of the multipack news Streets is releasing 'O' is Me, The Legend of Bubble O'Bill from the Horse's Mouth', an ice-cream memoir. Streets

Accompanying the news, the famous character of Bill is releasing an autobiography called O is Me, chronicling his humble beginnings, family (you may recall he has an older sister, Bubble O'Jill), and numerous milestones courtesy of ice-cream fans.

The memoir includes the heartwarming story behind Bill's famous holey hat, and the vocation Bill and Jill's parents had hoped for the pair (accountants, wouldn't you know).

Fans can only get their hands on a rare copy of the autobiography by entering an online social media contest via the Bubble O'Bill Facebook page, kicking off from Tuesday, September 28 until Friday, October 1.

Streets appear primed for an Aussie supermarket takeover, with the confectionary brand recently teaming up with the cake kings at Green's to launch a range of Golden Gaytime flavoured products.

The news, from earlier this month, sent fans of the iconic Streets dessert wild, with flavours including Golden Gaytime Crumb Cake, Golden Gaytime Brownie, Golden Gaytime Mousse and Golden Gaytime Broookie (biscuit sandwich).

Naturally, the popular Gaytime crumbs are incorporated into each of the toffee-vanilla cake spinoffs.

The new Green's Golden Gaytime range is available now in Coles supermarkets, and launches in Woolworths stores on October 18.
