'Relax': bartender defends 'dangerous' restaurant antics including eating food off customer's plates
A woman is being slammed by TikTok users after sharing a video about the 'harsh' realities of working in hospitality.
"As a bartender who has worked in restaurants for 20 years I'm going to tell you some harsh truths," TikToker Acire Ennoccaz says.
The video starts out fairly innocuous, Ennoccaz says "If you ask us to adjust the temperature, we're going to lie to you and say we did," and that "the cappuccino machine is not broken."

Concerningly, Ennoccaz then goes on to say that "if you ordered fries, just know that every single person on the way from the kitchen to the dining room has stolen one."
This immediately fired up viewers in the comments, "worked in many restaurants for the last 15 years, never stolen food from a plate or seen anyone do it," one commenter wrote.
Next, Ennoccaz says that she has faked ginger ale by mixing Sprite and Coke together.

To some viewers' disgust, the bartender also claims that she and other staff eat food off customers' plates as they make their way to the table. TikTok
One commenter says that if she were served coke in place of ginger ale, her throat would close up due to a caffeine allergy adding "that is incredibly dangerous to some people." In response to this genuine concern, Ennoccaz told the commenter to "relax".
In the continuation of 'harsh truths', the TikToker then says that if you can't control your kids "we're judging you".
However, it was the bartender's last comment that had people furious.

The bartender then took aim at coeliacs and people with gluten intolerances. TikTok
"If the first words out of your mouth are 'I'm gluten free', we're all going to assume you're a b---h"
It was this final comment that angered viewers, especially those who have gluten allergies, intolerances and coeliac disease.
"Respect allergies," one user simply put.

"Why am I a b---h because I'm gluten free? I have coeliac. I literally cannot have it," another commenter wrote.
"Where do you work? Not going there," a third bewildered commenter added.
