Shake Shack comes to Australia for the first time - but there's a catch
American burger chain Shake Shake is officially Down Under for the first time ever.
On Monday morning, they unveiled their pop-up venue at this year's Australian Open, and it features some Aussie exclusive items.
The famous New York restaurant chain has 262 stores in the United States, and 142 internationally.

They have stores in the likes of Canada, Japan, Thailand and the United Kingdom, but this is their first venture onto Aussie shores.
And they're bringing something unique to the Australian Open, with a few bespoke shakes.
But they're also well known for their burgers, and they have three options available here. The ShackBurger features a 100 per cent Aussie Angus beef blend, and they stress no hormones or antibiotics.
The menu reads "humanely raised and grazed in Australia".

The ShackBurger also has American cheese, lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun for $18.90.
They also have a 'Shroom burger for vegans ... or the Shack Stack, if you want both an Angus beef patty and a portobello mushroom patty in the same bun.
That one will set you back $25.
Obviously, they come into their own with their milkshakes, which they say are "hand spun with frozen custard" and using a2 Milk.
Shake Shack has their usual vanilla shake, which will cost you $12.90.
But where you'll find your Australian Open exclusive treat is with the remainder of the shakes menu.
The first is a chocolate cookies and cream shake, made with "vanilla frozen custard blended with shack fudge sauce and chocolate cookies topped with cookie crumbles".
An option for more health conscious customers is their Blue Slam Macadamia Shake.
Which contains vanilla frozen custard, coconut cream, spirulina powder and macadamia, topped with crushed macadamia and manuka honey.

Both of those Aussie Open exclusive shakes will cost you $13.90.
Their menu also has both crinkle cut fries and cheese fries, which you will have to order separately from your burger and/or shake.
They also have mixed in-house fresh lemonade, made with "real cane sugar and lemon", which is served in a clear plastic cup and will cost you $9.
Tennis Australia's head of product growth and innovation Fern Barrett said the Shake Shack team "fell in love" with the Australian Open when they came through last year.
"The Australian Open has become more than just a sporting event, it's really a festival of food, culture, entertainment and spot, of course," she said on Monday morning.

"We hosted the Shake Shack guys during last year's Australian Open, we showed them what this event is all about and it's fair to say they fell in love with the vibe and the energy.
"They've obviously been thinking of coming to Australia for some time now and this is the perfect platform to do so."
