Nikki Glaser roasts Leonardo DiCaprio and his age-gap romance in epic opening monologue at 2026 Golden Globes
Comedian Nikki Glaser hilariously roasted Leonardo DiCaprio in her opening monologue for the Golden Globe Awards 2026.
The comic, 41, who hosted the awards last year, took aim at a number of A-listers at the mammoth calender event, but it was 51-year-old Leo's love life that took the brunt.
Glaser made a joke about the Hollywood star's age-gap romance with model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti, 27.

"What a career you've had. I mean, countless iconic performances. You've worked with every great director. You've won three Golden Globes, an Oscar..." she began.
"And the most impressive thing is that you were able to accomplish all of that before your girlfriend turned 30!" she said as the audience laughed.
"I'm sorry I made that joke, it's cheap," Glaser admitted. "I tried not to but we don't know anything else about you man, there's nothing else. Open up."

She jested that the only thing we'd ever learned about the actor was from an interview he'd done decades prior.
When asked if his favourite meal was still "pasta, pasta and more pasta"," Leo nodded in agreement in the crowd.
Glaser's jokes didn't stop there.
At one point, she even made a dark joke about the controversial Epstein files, remarking: ''I cannot believe the amount of star power we have in this room tonight. It is insane.
"So many A-listers – and by A-listers, I mean people who are on a list that has been heavily redacted."

The comedian also roasted Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Kevin Hart who were among the stars sitting in the crowd.
"The Rock is nominated tonight, and luckily for him, the TV show The Paper is not. So he might win," she quipped, making fun of his nickname that made him famous.
"And Kevin Hart is here. Yes, The Rock's plus-one half. Love you, Kevin."
"You're so funny, and you and The Rock together are like my favorite comedy duo. You're like Steve Martin and Martin Short, but for like, people under 50 IQ, you know what I mean?"
Next, she hilariously targeted George Clooney, who was at the event with wife Amal Clooney.

In light of his Nespresso ads, she joked: "I've always wanted to ask you this question, and I know this is unprofessional, but I might not get the chance to do it again. So here goes.
"My Nespresso has been coming out kind of watery, and I'm wondering, do you think it might be the filter? Could you troubleshoot?"
Glaser started off her speech by joking about the Hollywood event and even mentioning actress Julia Roberts.
"Yes, the Golden Globes — without a doubt the most important thing that's happening in the world right now," she quipped.
She then fangirled over Roberts.
"I should not be allowed to be this close to Julia Roberts," she quipped.
Another swipe at the stars included saying Sean Penn looks like a "sexy leather handbag''.
And another star who wasn't exempt from the roast was Timothée Chalamet.
"Timothée Chalamet is the first actor in history to have to put on muscle for a movie about ping pong. He gained over 60 ounces. It's insane," she said about the star for Marty Supreme.
