Aldi Australia has quietly changed one of its most popular supermarket snacks and fans are "upset".

Damora Snakos have been removed from supermarket shelves across the country and replaced with a product called Damora Snakz.

An Aldi spokesperson has told nine.com.au the new product has "the same great taste" with just a "fresh new Damora Snakz rebrand and packaging", but not everyone agrees.

Damora Snakos were available in Chicken Crinkle, Cheddar, Barbeque, and Pizza.

The new range of Damora Snakz appear to be a redesign of the Damora Snakos range and come in the same flavours, but instead are called Chicken and BBQ, as well as Cheddar and Pizza.

The replacement product appears to be rebrand, but those who have tried them insist the flavour has changed as well.
